This one is an oldy, but a goody! Kin Things helped develop the brand identity and all platform packaging for the launch of Australian Kids Channel ABC3. Still on air, we helped launch the channel in 2009 whilst working with TACTIC Creative Services.
ABC3 is a channel dedicated to children’s programming. It’s varied, vibrant and fun. It is also extremely adaptable and updateable, something defined as essential for the demographic. We seem to have achieved the goal, as the channel package is still as fresh as when it launched.
Along with the development of a core ‘corporate’ brand mark, we developed an adaptive logo design delivering close to 40 variations of the core logo. The package is a real toolkit made up of image libraries consisting of textures, backgrounds, animated and static icons along with versatile navigation tools and a straightforward layering approach. IDs were created from real kids, real stories – brought to life through a smorgasbord of treatment styles. Such a rewarding project to be involved in.
