As part of our ongoing partnership with Commonwealth Bank, we were tasked with creating a campaign focused on the Australian Women’s Cricket Team and CBA’s sponsorship and support of the team. Our concept focuses on the incredible achievements of both individual players and the team as a whole, whilst acknowledging and attempting to change the perceptions around women’s cricket and the natural tendency people have towards male sport.

We worked with three Australian Cricketers and a group of everyday punters who knew they were meeting some international cricketing stars… but not who exactly.

When asked a series of questions about cricketing achievements, our hunches were justified and all our punters gravitated towards male players and male teams in their answers. Our players were then revealed to the surprise (and genuine delight) of the audience.

It was a pleasure working with such amazing athlete’s and ambassadors for the game, hopefully creating an authentic piece of content that contributes to raising the awareness of women’s cricket and sport in general.
